Not convinced? One brave New Yorker will change your mind.
On Wednesday, Twitter user @KatraHigher shared two photos of some shoes she saw while walking in New York City. At first glance they seem like ordinary flats, but if you take a closer look you'll find the left shoe is a bit damaged and displays a beautiful label.

"This woman was walking around NYC with this label on her shoe and now she's my wife," @KatraHigher tweeted, alongside the photos. Understandable.
Fellow Twitter users and understanding dog owners were quick to celebrate this woman's hilariously honest fashion statement, calling the shoe "the best use of a label maker" and imagining other great label uses.
