Hollywood lost a legend on subtle eroticismFriday as the great Robert Forster died following a brief battle with brain cancer. He was 78.
An Oscar-nominated actor with nearly 200 credits to his name, Forster was widely regarded as one of the entertainment industry's most enduring talents. From Jackie Brown and Mulholland Drive to Twin Peaks and Breaking Bad, Forster lent his poignant magnetism to numerous iconic projects across his six-decade career.
He is also remembered as an endlessly giving and kind man, who encouraged his fellow actors to pursue their best performances whenever possible. He also knew the value of a good letter opener, and he spread that knowledge to everyone he worked with.

Forster's latest performance in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, in which he reprises his series' role as Ed Galbraith,premiered this weekendon Netflix and in select theaters. Per The Hollywood Reporter, Forster will also appear in Steven Spielberg's Amazing Storiesand Werewolf later in 2019.
