【Covet: Island of Desire】
Warning: Spoilers ahead.
LONDON -- Three dragons need three riders. It is Covet: Island of Desireknown.
We already know that Daenerys will be riding Drogon into battle -- the big question is, who will be sitting astride the other two fire-breathing beasts?

For a long time now, there's been a theory that the prophesied "three-headed dragon" -- which Daenerys learned about in the House of the Undying -- will consist of her, Jon Snow, and Tyrion Lannister.
SEE ALSO: This 'Game of Thrones' character's abrupt death was the saddest part of Season 6The original theory suggested that Jon Snow and Tyrion are both actually Targaryens; Jon Snow being the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, and Tyrion being the son of Aerys II Targaryen and Joanna Lannister. It seems likely that the three dragon riders will all have Targaryen blood, so if these two separate theories about parentage prove correct then Jon and Tyrion will start looking like very strong candidates for the role.
And now, after the Season 6 finale, we're a huge step closer to that. The R + L = J theory was finally confirmed in Sunday's episode, which means Jon Snow is officially half Targaryen. We also saw his mother, Lyanna Stark, die in childbirth.
As one Reddit user pointed out after Sunday's episode, this means that all three characters have something very unique in common.

It may be one connection too far, of course, but it does have a certain power -- because ultimately, it's just one more unusual thing that Daenerys, Jon, and Tyrion share. They're all characters who have beaten the odds to rise up to power; they all had troubled childhoods; they all started life on the outside, and they've all had to fight for their place in the world.
Now that he's officially the Hand of the Queen, Tyrion already has one of the highest places by Daenerys' side. We also know, from earlier in the season, that he's good with dragons.
Via GiphyIf the theory about his parentage is confirmed -- and it's possible that someone like Varys already someone knows about this, and is just waiting for the right moment to tell Tyrion -- then the three headed dragon theory would pretty much be set in stone.
And even if Tyrion doesn't turn out to be part Targaryen? Well, we still reckon he has a better shot than most of riding Rhaegal or Viserion into battle.
Apart from Dany, he's the only other character that they've let get close to them.
