A storm of controversy has spun up around a tweet from a Nintendo parody account after less-than-savvy Twitter users -- including former Trump aide Seb Gorka -- put rage ahead of reading comprehension.
The Hot Movies Archivestweet in questions comes from @NlntendoAmerica, an account masquerading as a Nintendo-related account. (Look closely and you'll notice the "i" in Nintendo is actually a lower case "L.") Under the guise of celebrating Pride Month -- real Nintendo has inspired a wealth of queer memes, after all -- the parody tweet features fan art of iconic plumber brothers Mario and Luigi enjoying a romantic kiss.

On first blush this looks like an extremely problematic tweet from Nintendo, but it's actually Grade A troll bait. The reactions are very revealing.
Former Trump aide Seb Gorka, for one, is simply beside himself with rage about incest being shoved down our throats. Gorka is presumably not a Game of Thronesfan.

He was hardly the only one to fall for it.

Additionally, this was a chance to resurface an old fake tweet purportedly from Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto (that particular account was a well-known fake until being suspended) and, yes, drop some GOTjokes.
To clarify, the actual Nintendo of America Twitter account is "@NintendoAmerica" and has nottweeted art of Mario and Luigi -- yes, who are brothers -- kissing. And not everything you read on the internet is true.
