A report from Business Insider cites Starbucks employees (and otherwise uncorroborated social media posts) as saying that the 2019 launch date for the Pumpkin Spice Latte will be Aug. 27 -- a day earlier than last year's official launch.

On Aug. 7, Starbucks' Facebook account posted a semi-cryptic clip of a pumpkin converted into a bootleg Magic 8-Ball to official pumpkin-spice fan group Leaf Rakers Society, suggesting the eighth month of the year. (The group is closed, but anyone can join.) The caption promises one clue a week, meaning the next is due on or around Aug. 14.

An earlier story from budgeting blog Hip2Save also reported the Aug. 27 date and suggested other pumpkin drinks, including a "Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew," will also be launched this year.

Mashable has contacted Starbucks for comment, but there's no official word yet on the PSL launch date.

The drink is sometimes available in stores before the "official" launch date, too. In previous years, a super-secret password (hint: it began with "P") mentioned to a Starbucks cashier was all you needed to embrace your cinnamon-flavored weakness before the launch.

You might not be ready to bust out your knee-high boots and leggings-as-pants yet, but it seems Starbucks is done with summer.
