【Omnibus Archives】
Believe it or Omnibus Archivesnot, it's been five years since Netflix launched Profiles, the beloved feature that makes it easier for you to let others leech off your account.
Now, the streaming service is giving profile icons a much-needed makeover. The company announced on Wednesday new profile icons to coincide with the feature's five year anniversary.

In addition to updating the original icons with refreshed colors and 3D elements, you can now set your profile icon to various characters from Netflix shows. For example, you can choose photos of Kimmy or Titus from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Jonathan Van Ness from Queer Eye, or Eleven from Stranger Things, bringing a new level of personalization (and letting super fans geek out over their favorite shows in a whole new way).
In total, there are over 100 profile icons that will be available on the Netflix app across devices, TVs, streaming boxes, and the web.

Ultimately these will let each user express their personality more via his or her profile. It fits in with Netflix's overarching mission to provide the best experience for customers, and at most, it should push people to use separate profiles if they haven't already.
The new Profile Icons roll out to all Netflix accounts around the globe over the next few weeks.
