Once the votes were counted, Ben's tweet caused hundreds of heartbroken chocolate lovers to take to Twitter to mourn the loss of the much beloved snack. Only thing was: Ben's photo actually featured a packet of Milky Way magic stars hot chocolate powder, and *not* the chocolate stars.

Mashablecan confirm that Milky Way Magic Stars will (B)remain in the UK. 

“We know how much consumers love Milky Way Magic Stars and fans can rest assured that they will remain on sale in the UK," a spokesperson told Mashable. Phew.

However, Mars did not respond to Mashable's question about the status of the hot chocolate powder.
