"I've always had a very thorough dislike of homosexuals. I've never liked a grown man acting like a 12-year-old girl," he said.
In the near three-minute rant, Bertke also does a fist pump when talking about the shooting at Orlando's Pulse nightclub.
The video prompted an angry reaction on Twitter.

In a later video, Bertke claimed that the original video was a joke to "confuse people," in the style of comedian Andy Kaufman. He added that many of his friends are gay thus there being a "degree of irony" to his comments, but conceded the behaviour was "naive" on his part.
"It has never been my intention to hurt people, or to offend people. That has never been my intention," he said.
"My intention has always been to entertain, to make people think, to create discussion, to flip the coin. That's what I've only ever wanted to do, to flip the coin. To get the better of certain social movements and cultures I don't like."
The artist has previously written about his dislike of feminism, which disappointed fans and supporters of his work.
YouTube has been contacted for comment.
