In Season 2 of Daredevil, Stick tells Matt that the Hand has figured out the secret to immortality, and we also learn that Elektra is of critical use to them for Black Sky. Matt watched as Elektra was killed in Hell's Kitchen, but with the Hand in custody of her body (and pretty pissed off, as they usually are), it looks like she'll be back for The Defenders.
