And unsurprisingly, there were plenty of people who wanted to catch a glimpse of Dr Ian Malcolm/Mr. Goldblum, as his truck made its way from Wynyard Station to Circular Quay.

Right now, no one really knows just whatGoldblum is helping to promote with this random and delicious act of charity. But we know he's shooting something, according to an interview on radio station Triple M.

"It's kind of a secret, it's a mystery that I can't divulge, but I'm filming something here that has something to do with food," Goldblum told the station.

"Very soon you'll know -- you may be less surprised than you think," he added. It's totally an ad. The actor added that he had no involvement with the making of the sausages or its recipes, and was merely just handing them out.

Regardless, if you're in Sydney right now, run. Fast. Chef Goldblum sausages for all!
