Finnair has chosen to retire the official flight number, AY666, for the past 11 years, AY666 has flown to HEL 21 times on Friday the 13th, a spokesperson for the airline said to The Telegraph.

The airline spokesperson also explained the reason for retiring the ominous flight number.

“As of October 29, some of our flight numbers in our network will change and our AY666 flight from Copenhagen to Helsinki will change to AY954."

No more superstitious flights for those brave passengers. Unfortunately, this will not be the last Friday the 13th.
