Intel’s processor Lunar Lake will likely generate orders exceeding $14 billion for TSMC over the next two years,UK revealed semiconductor analyst Andrew Lu on Facebook. Following Apple, Intel may become TSMC’s second-largest customer for the advanced 3nm processor. Andrew Lu broke down TSMC’s anticipated orders from Intel to nearly $4 billion in 2024 and $10 billion in 2025. TSMC is preparing to produce around 15,000 of the chips for Intel monthly by the end of 2024, revving up to 30,000 chips a month in 2025, Lu said. [Icsmart, in Chinese]
