【TV Series Archives】
Theft is TV Series Archivesnever fun, but thankfully some people see some humour in it.
A New Zealand business called Smith Crane & Construction put up a Facebook post on Tuesday to find the people who stole their tools on Saturday morning — so they can offer them a job.
SEE ALSO: Clueless people are posting their searches to a fake Google Facebook page, and it's too much"We thought you might like to come and work for us? Maybe make an honest living instead of thieving off us?" reads the post.
It appears the owners are more impressed at the thieves' ability to get out of bed on time, have a working knowledge of power tools, and have a truck to drive around, than annoyed by the theft.
The post ends with a phone number at the end, asking if they have "what it takes." Heh heh heh.
The owner of the business, Tim Smith, told Newshub that he put up the post for "a bit of a laugh."
"But we can give them some work if they want...we have ex prisoners working for us," he told the news outlet.
Smith said in a post he's willing to pay up to NZ$1000 (US$735) reward for information leading to the thieves being caught. It's been a bad run for him: In late January he had a Toyota Hilux pickup truck stolen from him.
You'd have to give him credit for being relatively cheerful about it all.
