Airbnb is Korea Archiveslooking to lend support to those affected by the recent terror attack in Barcelona, Spain.
After a van drove through crowds on Thursday, killing at least 12 people and injuring dozens more, Airbnb activated its disaster response tool to help connect people in need of shelter and other accommodations with hosts in the area who've chosen to open their homes for free.

"Our thoughts are with those affected by this terrible attack."
"Through the tool, travellers whose journeys have been affected will be able to connect with local hosts who are opening up their homes at no charge between now and September 7," Munoz added.
Original image has been replaced. Credit: Mashable The tool, created back in 2012 after Hurricane Sandy, was also activated for the Louisiana floods and Hurricane Matthew in 2016, and more recently, after Trump's Muslim ban earlier this year.
Airbnb waives all fees that are hosts and guests are usually charged, and homes are listed for $0. As of Aug. 18, 100 accommodations have already been listed — ranging from single rooms to entire aparentments.
