Footage captured on a flight from Burnie, Tasmania, shows the intensity of the wind as it visibly rattles the aircraft -- not something you want to see from your window seat 10,000 feet.

Australia's southern state of Victoria has been lashed by intense storms and 100 kilometre per hour winds over the past week, with one reported fatality and reports of up to 50,000 homes without power.
